VanillaGreenHouse a Satisfactory Mod
I’m excited to share the results of two months of dedicated work: a mod for Satisfactory, a game I absolutely love.
The goal of this project was to create a mod that integrates seamlessly into the base game while addressing a highly requested feature : Automatic production of nutrients.
Key Highlights :
- Modeling & Animation: Using Maya, I combined and reworked elements from game assets to craft a unique building. And I made growing and harvesting animations to bring the structure to life.
- Blueprint Scripting: Using Unreal Engine 5, I built the growing cycles, harvesting mechanics, and ensured seamless integration with the game’s existing systems. I also designed a MAM research tree to unlock my recipes, seamlessly expanding the game's progression system.
- VFX & Polishing: Enhanced the building with visual effects, including water drops and puddles.
- Icons: Crated item icons that seamlessly match the art style and aesthetic of the base game.

- Localization: Invite the community to contribute translations and implement localization
- Community Involvement: Actively engaged with the Discord community, gathering feedback to improve the mod. I also provided support by troubleshooting errors and implementing fixes, ensuring a smoother experience for players.
